An open house at The Bridge Hospice gave the community an opportunity for a “sneak peek” of the building that will be home for residents during their final days.
“This is absolutely incredible, all that I had hoped for and more,” said Rosaleen Dunne, one of the three women who envisioned the palliative care home for their community.
She met Pauline Faull and Lynda Pecora in 2005 and discovered they had the same dream, to make the last few days on this earth better for the dying.
The open house was the chance to show everyone how far the vision has come with the help of many many volunteers who have put in thousands and thousands of hours.
